Litigation Paralegal
Wilson Elser is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our Livonia, Michigan office. This role offers a flexible hybrid schedule, combining in-office collaboration with remote work. The Litigation Paralegal will coordinate and secure medical authorizations and records, draft and respond to discovery demands, prepare case materials and exhibits, summarize medical records and deposition transcripts, and assist with comprehensive trial preparation. Additional responsibilities include analyzing and organizing document productions, conducting detailed file reviews, preparing materials for expert witness evaluation, developing detailed chronologies of key case documents, and maintaining case files and documentation systems.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate, with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in insurance defense or related litigation practice. Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with legal document management systems are essential. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
