Live Experience Production Director - Fever Originals
The Live Experience Production Director at Fever Originals is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production of complex live entertainment experiences, including the construction of permanent or semi-permanent physical spaces. This role ensures that events are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The position is based in Toronto and requires a minimum of three in-office days per week.
Key responsibilities include interpreting and validating CAD drawings, coordinating design reviews with creative and technical teams, and overseeing permitting processes from site assembly through to venue preparation. The Production Director will also develop and track production schedules, manage budgets throughout all stages of production, and negotiate and execute vendor and staffing contracts. Additionally, the role involves leading meetings, capturing outcomes, and presenting confidently to senior stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has over five years of experience in live event or entertainment production, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex productions involving high budgets and multiple stakeholders. Strong knowledge of technical production, logistics, and permitting is essential, along with experience in contract negotiation and managing large vendor networks. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in French is considered a strong asset. Excellent organizational, scheduling, communication, and leadership skills are also necessary.
