Tech Support Engineer (Mexico)

This role serves as a critical link between business operations and engineering, ensuring the seamless operation of our systems and delivering an exceptional user experience to millions worldwide.
As a Tech Support Engineer, you will act as the primary technical contact for incident management, triage, and escalation. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting complex technical issues across our client-server architecture, conducting in-depth investigations using log analysis and monitoring tools, and writing and optimizing complex SQL queries to resolve data-related problems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, and Operations is essential to enhance system reliability. Additionally, you will document technical workarounds and contribute to our internal knowledge base.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical mindset with proven experience in tech support or troubleshooting roles and excellent problem-solving skills. A solid understanding of PostgreSQL or MySQL, including the ability to write complex queries and work with stored procedures, is required. Knowledge of APIs, services, and client-server architecture, particularly RESTful APIs and JSON, is essential. Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments, ticketing tools like Jira or Zendesk, and exposure to monitoring/logging tools such as Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, or Kibana are also important. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is necessary for effective communication with global teams.
