Tech Support Engineer (Mexico-D)

This role serves as a critical link between business operations and engineering, ensuring the seamless operation of our systems and delivering an exceptional user experience. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the reliability and stability of our platform, directly impacting millions of users worldwide.
As a Tech Support Engineer, you will act as the primary technical contact for incident management, including triage, escalation, and resolution. Your responsibilities will encompass troubleshooting complex technical issues across our client-server architecture, conducting in-depth investigations using logs and monitoring tools, and writing and optimizing complex SQL queries to address data-related challenges. Collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams will be essential to enhance system reliability and operational excellence. Additionally, you will contribute to our internal knowledge base by documenting technical workarounds and incident learnings.
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in technical support, production support, or similar roles, demonstrating excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. A strong understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, with the ability to write complex SQL queries and work with stored procedures, is required. Knowledge of APIs, services, and client-server architecture, along with experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON, is essential. Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments, ticketing tools like Jira or Zendesk, and monitoring platforms such as Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, or Kibana is also necessary. Professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is a must.
