Localisation Specialist
Canva is seeking a Localisation Specialist to lead its localisation strategy for the Mexican market. This role involves enhancing cultural relevance, clarity, and user experience to make Canva a beloved brand in Mexico. The position is based in Mexico City, Mexico, and offers a flexible, remote-friendly work environment.
Key responsibilities include identifying opportunities to improve cultural relevance and user experience, partnering with local and regional teams on product growth initiatives, analyzing user behavior to uncover growth opportunities, providing cultural insights to global teams, collaborating with external localisation partners to deliver high-quality Spanish (Mexico) experiences, and scaling localisation learnings across Latin American Spanish-speaking markets.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in localisation, internationalisation, growth, product, brand, or marketing roles focused on the Mexican market. They should deeply understand Mexican culture and digital behaviors, be fluent in Spanish and English, possess exceptional communication skills, be comfortable working with data to evaluate performance, thrive in collaborative environments, and be both strategic and hands-on. Experience working across LATAM Spanish-speaking markets or within SaaS/product-led technology companies is highly valued.
