Machinist / Programmer
Anduril Industries is seeking a Machinist/Programmer to join their Manufacturing Technology Team in Costa Mesa, California. This team focuses on rapidly developing and implementing manufacturing materials, technologies, and processes for advanced defense hardware, including deployable static and moving surface, undersea, and sea-to-air vehicles. In this role, the Machinist/Programmer will collaborate with NC Programming and manufacturing engineering to develop machining and manufacturing plans. Responsibilities include creating mounting, tooling, and NC programming for complex machine parts, implementing machining processes, and ensuring efficient, on-time production of large, intricate components. The position requires hands-on involvement in machining implementations and the startup of new machining processes.
Candidates must have over 15 years of experience in large-part machining with hard metals and exotic materials, along with some experience in NC programming machining systems. Additional qualifications include technology development experience in machining, automation, prototyping, and process development, as well as the ability to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment. U.S. Person status is required due to access to export-controlled information or facilities.
The salary range for this position is $166,000 to $220,000 annually.
