Manager, Manufacturing Test Engineering (Intelligence Systems)
Anduril Industries is seeking a Manager of Manufacturing Test Engineering to lead the strategic oversight and tactical management of production systems within the Intelligence Systems division. This role is pivotal in ensuring rigorous testing protocols are implemented, guaranteeing the consistent delivery of high-quality products to customers. The position is based in Ashville, Ohio, with an initial three-month training period in Santa Ana, California.
The Manager will direct the manufacturing test engineering team, setting objectives, guiding initiatives, and assessing team outcomes. Responsibilities include architecting and overseeing manufacturing test strategies for each product, ensuring scalable operations from pre-production to full-scale output. The role also involves strategizing and implementing advancements in manufacturing testing, focusing on automation, uniformity, and operational streamlining. Additionally, the Manager will evaluate test data, compile findings, and identify opportunities for product and process enhancements.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of relevant industry experience leading manufacturing test engineering. Expertise in Linux, C#, Python, and NixOS is required, as well as solid experience with PCBA/electronic assembly testing and knowledge of testing standards. Proficiency in using electronic test equipment and strong analytical skills for root cause analysis of non-conforming hardware are essential. Familiarity with Product Life Cycle (PLM) systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Test Execution Systems (TES) is also necessary. An active U.S. Secret security clearance is required.
The salary range for this position is $113,000 to $149,000 annually.
