The Manager of Technical Projects at Wilson Elser is a pivotal role within the firm's Business Solutions & Innovations Department. Key responsibilities include overseeing the planning, management, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects. The manager will serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders, interpret and document detailed business requirements, lead business process discovery, formulate and manage project plans, develop testing plans, lead quality assurance testing, and assist with the creation of training materials. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with the firm's internal Revenue and Finance departments on various cross-functional projects and supporting departmental operations related to the firm's financial system.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of recent experience in a leadership or project management role within an Information Technology or Business Services department, including direct oversight of support staff. Proficiency in Agile methodologies, particularly in a Product Owner role, and experience using JIRA software for project and task management are essential. Strong communication skills, expertise in project management fundamentals, and a bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or equivalent work experience are required. Certifications such as Scrum Master, Lean Six Sigma, or PMP are strongly desired.
