Manager, Operations Training
The Manager, Operations Training at Legend Biotech is responsible for leading the training team that supports cGMP Commercial Cell Therapy Manufacturing operations. This role involves overseeing training activities for plant operation team members to ensure safe and compliant production processes. The position is based in Raritan, New Jersey, and requires collaboration with Operations and Quality departments to support personalized cell therapy production.
Key responsibilities include developing and managing a comprehensive training program for all plant functions and personnel involved in daily commercial production. The manager will plan, coordinate, and deploy training curricula, perform assessments for new and updated procedures, oversee training skill checks and qualifications, and support the evaluation of compliance courses. Additionally, the role involves managing training requirements for new hires, aligning procedures with functional leads, and serving as a subject matter expert for Compliance & Training systems. The manager will also oversee the onboarding process for new manufacturing operators and maintain quality training metrics.
Candidates should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, with an advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant work and management experience is required, preferably within an aseptic manufacturing facility, focusing on training/system applications, quality systems, or learning management systems. Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA/EU guidance related to manufacturing of cell-based products, as well as Good Tissue Practices, is essential. The role demands strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, along with proven leadership and team management abilities.
The base pay range for this position is $123,605 to $162,232 USD annually. Additional compensation may include performance-based bonuses and/or equity for eligible roles.
