Manager, People Operations
Hut 8 is seeking a Miami-based Manager of People Operations to enhance the employee experience through innovative systems and process design. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role focuses on simplifying workflows, maximizing automation, and building scalable infrastructure to support the company's rapid growth. Hut 8 is a leader in operating large-scale data centers for next-generation computing workloads, including AI, Colocation, Cloud, and Bitcoin Mining.
The Manager of People Operations will be responsible for redesigning core employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, promotions, transfers, leaves, and off-boarding, with a focus on user experience. Key duties include implementing and optimizing the Rippling HRIS platform, eliminating manual processes through intelligent automation, mapping employee journeys to identify and reduce friction points, and developing mobile-first, self-service tools to empower employees. Additionally, the role involves establishing a single source of truth for data integrity, creating real-time dashboards for leadership, designing scalable processes to support workforce growth, and ensuring compliance with multi-state employment regulations.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in HRIS implementation, particularly with platforms like Rippling, Workday, or BambooHR. They should possess a strong background in building automated workflows, integrations, and APIs, and demonstrate a systems-thinking approach to connecting and scaling platforms. A product mindset, proficiency in process design and continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making skills, and strong compliance knowledge across multi-state employment regulations are essential. Clear documentation abilities, change management capabilities, and a self-directed, execution-oriented approach are also required. Experience in data center, construction, field workforce, or high-growth tech environments is a plus, with Rippling expertise strongly preferred.
