Manager, Product Quality Engineering
Anduril Industries is seeking a Manager of Product Quality Engineering to lead the Quality function for Maritime’s Dive-XL program in Quonset, Rhode Island. This role involves developing strategies, defining and executing plans, and implementing processes to deliver reliable Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) that meet mission requirements. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure product quality and reliability.
Key responsibilities include partnering with manufacturing engineering, production, and development engineers to support the quality of the integration process for components such as underwater sensors, PCBAs, cables, wiring harnesses, actuators, machined parts, and structures. The role also involves conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, leading the non-conformance review process, and managing the Root Cause and Corrective Action process for integration and defense programs. Additionally, the manager will support incoming inspection processes and build and manage the quality engineering team for the Dive-XL production line.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a similar technical field, with at least 8 years of relevant experience working with OEM suppliers and manufacturing operations building complex hardware and software systems. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an AS9100 regulated environment is required, along with experience managing and building a quality team. Proficiency in product development methodologies such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Change Management, and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) is essential. The candidate should possess a strong ownership mindset, demonstrated capability to drive projects from start to finish, and the ability to track, prioritize, and drive multiple concurrent projects to success.
Anduril Industries offers a competitive salary range of $126,000 to $167,000 per year for this role.
