As the Manager of Quality Management System at Archer, you will lead the development and implementation of the quality framework for our inaugural certified aircraft, Midnight. This role is integral to ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards and FAA 14 CFR Part 21 regulations across multiple sites, setting a benchmark for safety and quality in the advanced air mobility industry.

Your primary responsibilities will include authoring and maintaining the Quality Management System documentation, serving as the main liaison with the FAA during production certification processes, and establishing a unified quality framework across all Archer locations. You will also lead internal and external audits, oversee corrective action processes, and integrate quality practices into engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and flight operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering—preferably Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial—and have over seven years of experience leading quality teams within the aerospace or other regulated industries. Essential qualifications include expertise in AS9100 certification, experience managing both salaried and hourly employees, and a comprehensive understanding of quality management systems, auditing, product quality engineering, and various quality methodologies such as FMEA, RCCA, SPC, and APQP.

Archer offers a competitive compensation package, with a targeted base pay range of $117,500 to $161,600, determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
