Anduril Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the 2nd shift to join their Manufacturing Team. This team is responsible for rapidly iterating and building cutting-edge defense hardware, including static equipment, moving ground equipment, and flight vehicles. The role involves owning the manufacturing value chain for specific products, contributing to the company's mission of transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology.

Key responsibilities include developing novel tooling solutions for fabrication and assembly of structural parts, creating process flows to break down complex assemblies into logical subassemblies, and writing documentation required for successful large-scale manufacturing. The engineer will work hands-on with technicians and other engineers to build prototype hardware and collaborate with contract manufacturers across various disciplines to develop repeatable, sustained processes for both quick-turn development and at-scale production.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or a hard science, and at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware. Demonstrated ability to deliver electromechanical hardware in resource-constrained environments, team leadership skills, and personal experience in manufacturing hardware through machining, fabrication, soldering, or assembly are essential. A genuine interest in manufacturing and a thirst for learning are also important. U.S. Person status is required due to access to export-controlled data.

The position offers a salary range of $111,000 to $147,000 USD, with highly competitive equity grants included in the majority of full-time offers. Anduril provides comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans at little to no cost to employees, along with life and disability insurance coverage. Additional benefits include generous PTO plans with a holiday hiatus in December, caregiver and wellness leave, family planning and parenting support, mental health resources, professional development reimbursement, commuter benefits, and relocation assistance depending on role eligibility. Retirement savings plans are also available, including traditional 401(k), Roth, and after-tax options.

Anduril Industries fosters a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, encouraging innovation and collaboration. Employees have opportunities for growth and development, working on cutting-edge projects that have a real-world impact on national security. The company's commitment to bringing advanced technology to the defense industry in months, not years, offers a unique and rewarding career path for those passionate about making a difference.
