This role involves managing a team of skilled technicians to produce multiple hardware platforms for strategic military and commercial clients. The position requires both technical expertise and leadership skills to oversee daily vehicle delivery operations and ensure exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities include managing technician staff in the production and delivery of hardware through factory acceptance, setting priorities, directing daily operations, and ensuring safety procedures are followed. The role also involves coaching and mentoring production technicians, prioritizing work activities to achieve on-time delivery goals, and maintaining quality standards throughout the production process. Additionally, the manager will provide high-level reports to senior management, participate in continuous improvement activities, and lead cross-functional communication with engineering, supply chain, logistics, and quality teams.

The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience in production-oriented or electro-mechanical technician fields, with at least three years in a supervisory or production operations lead/manager role in a high-volume production environment. Experience with ERP and MES systems, a comprehensive understanding of the product life cycle from new product introduction to scaled production, and proficiency in interpreting technical documentation are essential. Strong organizational and communication skills, a passion for employee development, and knowledge of lean manufacturing principles are also required. Preferred qualifications include experience with aircraft new product introduction, an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a technical field, lean six sigma green belt certification, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance. Experience in small electronic assembly and drones, as well as the ability to develop cross-functional relationships, are advantageous.

Anduril offers a competitive salary range of $129,000 to $193,000, along with comprehensive healthcare benefits, income protection, generous time off, family planning and parenting support, mental health resources, professional development opportunities, commuter benefits, relocation assistance, and retirement savings plans.
