Manufacturing Systems Integration Engineer
Archer is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Integration Engineer to join our Systems Integration team in Santa Clara, California. In this role, you will be instrumental in scaling our production capabilities by integrating our manufacturing and business ecosystems, specifically focusing on our core platforms: Teamcenter, SAP, and OpCenter. Your expertise will ensure seamless data flow and interoperability across these systems, supporting our mission to advance sustainable air mobility.
As a Manufacturing Systems Integration Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include designing and implementing integrations between shop-floor operations and enterprise systems (PLM, ERP, and MES). You will maintain system architecture documentation, integration plans, and technical roadmaps to support scalable manufacturing. Additionally, you will configure Siemens Teamcenter PLM to meet production requirements, develop bidirectional integrations between Teamcenter, SAP, and OpCenter to ensure data integrity, and configure SAP modules to manage manufacturing orders, material movements, and inventory synchronization. Troubleshooting and improving system interfaces, data pipelines, and industrial communication protocols will also be key aspects of your role.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with over five years of hands-on experience in manufacturing systems integration. Proficiency in configuring and integrating Teamcenter, SAP, and OpCenter is essential, as is strong knowledge of industrial protocols such as OPC-UA, Modbus, or Ethernet/IP. Experience in automotive, aviation, or discrete manufacturing, with a deep understanding of MES/MOM workflows, is highly desirable. Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks like NIST or IEC 62443 and manufacturing regulations will be advantageous.
