Market Manager - The Balkans
Lighthouse is seeking a Market Manager to lead our expansion in the Balkans. This role involves representing The Hotels Network's innovative technology, now enhanced by Lighthouse, to potential hotel partners. The successful candidate will manage the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, aiming to boost direct bookings and revenue for hotels in the region.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategic business plans to establish and grow our presence in the Balkan market. The Market Manager will source new opportunities through targeted outreach and networking, manage the full sales cycle—including product demonstrations, contract negotiations, and deal closures—and maintain a robust sales pipeline with accurate tracking in Salesforce. Achieving and exceeding sales targets, providing market feedback to product development teams, and representing Lighthouse at industry events are also essential duties.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in full-cycle sales or new business development, with strong knowledge of the travel, hospitality, or SaaS industries. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required, along with fluency in English. An entrepreneurial spirit, resilience under pressure, and a drive to achieve targets are essential. A willingness to travel frequently and an interest in leveraging AI and data to enhance sales performance are also important.
