Market Manager - The Balkans
Lighthouse is seeking a Market Manager for the Balkans to drive the expansion of The Hotels Network's innovative technology in the region. This role involves managing the entire sales process, from identifying potential hotel partners to closing new business, with the goal of enhancing direct bookings and revenue for hotels in the Balkans.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategic business plans to establish and grow our presence in the Balkan market. The Market Manager will source new opportunities through targeted outreach and networking, manage the full sales cycle—including product demonstrations, contract negotiations, and deal closures—and build a robust sales pipeline with accurate tracking in Salesforce. Achieving and exceeding sales targets, representing the company at industry events, and providing market feedback to product development teams are also essential duties.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in full-cycle sales or new business development, with strong knowledge of the travel, hospitality, or SaaS industries. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required, along with fluency in both Croatian and English. An entrepreneurial spirit, resilience under pressure, and a willingness to travel frequently are essential. Experience presenting to C-level executives and an existing professional network within the Balkans hospitality sector are advantageous.
