Marketing Intern

As a Brand Marketing Intern based in Galway, you will play a key role in supporting Diligent's local brand presence and employee experience, with a special focus on our partnership with the Galway International Arts Festival. You will help bring this flagship cultural partnership to life through content creation and storytelling, ensuring the festival experience connects back to our people, culture, and brand.

You will also contribute ideas for employee engagement, brand visibility at the festival venue, and creative campaigns that reflect Diligent's values. Working closely with the Senior Brand Manager and cross-functional teams, you will gain hands-on exposure to partnership collaboration, event support, and employer brand marketing in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities include supporting the Senior Brand Manager on internal communications, events, and creative brand initiatives; assisting in planning and delivering culture-building events that reflect Diligent's values and strengthen employee connection; contributing to content creation, messaging, and internal campaigns that enhance the overall employee experience; and helping bring the Diligent brand to life through local partnerships, including Galway United and the Galway International Arts Festival.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail and creative thinking, are essential. The candidate should be organized and proactive, able to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment. Proficiency in tools like Canva and CapCut, along with a demonstrated interest in branding, marketing, or storytelling, is preferred. Previous involvement in university societies, volunteer work, event planning, community engagement, social media, or campus ambassadorship is a plus. The candidate should be based in or near Galway and excited to bring enthusiasm, curiosity, and a proactive, hands-on approach to an on-site role.
