Mass Properties Intern

In this role, the intern will assist in the performance of mass properties analysis and reporting for Archer's projects. Responsibilities include collecting and organizing component weight data, supporting weight tracking throughout design changes, performing detailed calculations, and maintaining databases for project mass properties. Day-to-day work involves collaborating closely with engineers across multiple disciplines to ensure vehicle performance goals are met.
Candidates for this internship should be pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field. Desired qualifications include coursework in mass properties, strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in data management tools such as Excel or MATLAB, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Prior experience with weight management or aircraft design projects is a plus, but not required.
