Anduril Industries is seeking a Material Planner to join our Supply Chain team. This role involves managing material flow across the entire value chain, from raw materials to finished goods, ensuring timely and efficient production of advanced defense hardware. The Material Planner will have full ownership of specific assemblies and product lines, playing a critical role in signaling and forecasting supply needs to Purchasing and Manufacturing teams.

Key responsibilities include developing and managing production plans, coordinating with Purchasing to ensure component availability, and scheduling production accordingly. The role also involves providing visibility on part shortages, forecasting component requirements, prioritizing supply allocations, collaborating with Engineering on material coverage for component changes, managing consumables inventory, and maintaining processes within the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.

Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, particularly in supply chain or production roles involving complex mechanical or electrical assemblies. Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like Netsuite is required. The role requires the ability to travel up to 15-20% and eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.

Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field such as mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing, electrical, or computer engineering, supply chain, or business with a technical concentration. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Six Sigma principles is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to manage a value chain from start to finish, coordinating among multiple internal and external parties to achieve on-time deliveries under stringent quality standards, is highly valued.
