Mechanical Engineer - Advanced Technology

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its Advanced Technologies Group, focusing on the design, analysis, and qualification of complex electronics and avionics systems for innovative space and defense projects. This role is integral to the company's mission of delivering transformative, mission-critical solutions from ground to space.

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing enclosures for electronic assemblies, conducting thermal, shock, and vibration analyses, and creating mechanical bills of materials. Additional duties include writing manufacturing instructions, managing mechanical engineering tasks across multiple programs, and collaborating with subject matter experts to complete complex designs for both digital and RF systems.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of six years of relevant experience. A strong understanding of engineering materials, proficiency in GD&T, and familiarity with PCBA layout are essential. Experience with space flight requirements and manufacturing processes such as machining, solder assembly, and PCB fabrication is also required.
