Medical Affairs Co-Op
The Medical Affairs Co-Op at Legend Biotech is a 12-month program designed to support the organization's scientific, clinical, and strategic objectives, with a primary focus on real-world evidence generation. This role offers hands-on experience across the medical affairs spectrum, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of scientific integrity and medical excellence.
Key responsibilities include supporting and operationalizing real-world evidence generation planning and activities, participating in key opinion leader engagements to understand evidence needs and data gaps, assisting in medical content and resource development, contributing to the publication planning process, and supporting medical information functions to ensure compliance with medical and regulatory standards. The role requires the ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.
Candidates must possess a post-graduate PharmD, MD, DO, or PhD in a biosciences field. A strong foundation in clinical research, pharmacology, biomedical science, or related disciplines is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities, high professionalism, a collaborative mindset, and scientific rigor are also required. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, proficiency with common computer-based tools and platforms, curiosity, a proactive learning mindset, strong attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills are necessary.
