Medical Equipment Planner
CannonDesign is seeking a Medical Equipment Planner to lead equipment planning projects from inception through completion. This role involves collaborating with design and construction teams, as well as client leadership, to ensure effective equipment selection and management. The position is remote, allowing candidates from across the United States to apply.
Key responsibilities include providing equipment listings, layouts, and design guidance; developing technical design criteria, specifications, cost estimates, and acquisition planning; managing project equipment budgets and schedules; leading departmental user meetings to prioritize equipment selections; and coordinating decisions on existing-to-reuse equipment, including inventory management and reuse strategies.
Candidates should possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in design, engineering, science research, healthcare, or a supply chain-related field, along with at least four years of experience in laboratory or medical equipment planning, healthcare planning, biomedical engineering, or a related industry. Strong communication skills, proficiency in reading and coordinating architectural construction documents, and familiarity with Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Reader/Bluebeam are essential. Experience with AutoCAD/Revit is preferred.
The salary range for this position is $71,200 to $89,000 annually. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
