Mobile Service Technician
The Mobile Service Technician at Lucid Motors is responsible for performing field service repairs on luxury electric vehicles. This role involves traveling to client locations to diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Technicians will operate independently while having the support of the nearest service location, reflecting Lucid's commitment to providing exceptional service in the evolving electric vehicle market.
Key responsibilities include functioning as a Service Advisor, managing parts inventory, and delivering a high level of customer experience. Technicians will document all vehicle interactions accurately, maintain comprehensive knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems, and perform thorough assessments to address client concerns effectively. Additional duties encompass invoicing, payment collection, and supporting service centers as needed.
Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience as automotive service technicians, with a strong understanding of electric vehicle powertrains and high voltage systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn proprietary software. Required certifications include EPA 609, with ASE certifications preferred. A valid driver's license with a clean record is mandatory.
