Mobile Team Lead
As a Mobile Team Lead at Via, you will spearhead the development of key mobile initiatives aimed at enhancing the performance, reliability, and user experience of our rider and driver applications across iOS and Android platforms. Your leadership will be instrumental in transforming public transportation systems into efficient, data-driven digital networks that provide greater access to essential services.
In this role, you will own and execute a roadmap focused on scalability, addressing challenges such as handling peak demand, optimizing app responsiveness, and reducing latency across core user flows. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to launch new features end-to-end, from concept through production, while improving engineering quality and velocity by introducing better development practices and evolving mobile architecture.
The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience building mobile applications, including working on production-scale apps. Proven experience in leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects end-to-end is essential. A strong understanding of mobile architecture, performance optimization, and modern development practices such as CI/CD, testing, and MVVM is required. Comfort with working across mobile, backend, and product domains to deliver cohesive solutions is crucial.
