Operations Manager

As an Operations Manager at Via, you will oversee the daily operations of our transportation services in Montgomery, ensuring safe, reliable, and accessible transit for the community. This role involves direct engagement with drivers, riders, and city partners to maintain high service standards.

Your primary responsibilities include managing daily onsite operations, making real-time decisions regarding fleet and driver management, and addressing unexpected challenges promptly. You will guide and support drivers, foster strong relationships, and implement operational improvements based on rider and community feedback. Utilizing data and technology, you'll analyze service performance to enhance efficiency and the rider experience.

Ideal candidates will have experience in operations, people management, logistics, or customer service, with a strong ability to build trust through clear communication. A hands-on, proactive approach is essential, along with the capability to think strategically and tactically. A deep understanding of fixed-route transit challenges, including safety and compliance, is crucial.

The compensation package includes a salary range of $65,000 to $90,000 per year, with additional benefits such as free medical plans and 401(k) matching.
