Mobile Team Leader – Android

Cato Networks is seeking a Mobile Team Leader – Android to lead our mobile engineering team in Tel Aviv, Israel. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting, mentoring, and managing the mobile team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality Android applications. You will oversee the entire design and development cycle of solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management, server groups, and core networking groups. Your work will involve designing and implementing enterprise platform solutions, researching new technologies, and adapting them to enhance our products.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience leading mobile engineering teams, specifically with direct responsibility for Android teams, and more than seven years of mobile development experience with proficiency in Java/Kotlin and client-side concurrency. A strong knowledge of Android frameworks, networking libraries, and CI/CD methodologies is essential. Experience with identity providers, OAUTH2, SSO, and authentication flows is a significant advantage. A proven track record of owning full product lifecycles with frequent release cycles, along with excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, is required. A B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent is also necessary.
