Motion Designer
CLEAR is seeking a Motion Designer to join its Brand Creative team in New York City. This role involves creating videos, motion graphics, and animations that enhance the brand and drive impact across various marketing channels. The Motion Designer will collaborate with designers, product managers, and marketers to develop content that communicates CLEAR's mission of making experiences safer and easier.
Key responsibilities include editing and producing video content aligned with CLEAR's brand guidelines for brand, social, and product campaigns. The Motion Designer will design and animate graphics, text, and transitions for digital and social content, create platform-specific assets and templates for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn, and develop animations and interactions for product interfaces across in-airport hardware, mobile apps, web, and desktop applications. Additionally, the role involves shooting video content, staying updated with emerging motion and AI tools, and creating scalable motion design systems.
Candidates should have 3–5 years of professional experience in motion design, video editing, or content creation, preferably within an in-house brand or agency. A strong portfolio showcasing a range of work across editing, motion graphics, and design is essential. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Figma is required, with knowledge of Cinema4D, Blender, or other 3D tools being a plus. Experience with AI and generative AI tools for concept development and image/video creation is desirable. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and animating for social-first content, an understanding of shooting principles, the ability to storyboard or concept visuals, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
CLEAR offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a base salary range of $110,000 to $140,000, depending on skills and experience.
