Network & Security Researcher

Cato Networks is seeking a Network & Security Researcher to join our dynamic team in Tel Aviv, Israel. In this position, you will be responsible for researching and analyzing network protocols and application behaviors to enhance our security products, including Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), and Data Loss Prevention (DLP). Your day-to-day activities will involve developing content signatures, utilizing big data technologies, and automating processes to improve efficiency and scalability.

The ideal candidate will have over three years of hands-on experience in the cybersecurity or networking industry, with a strong understanding of networking architecture, the OSI model, and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, and HTTP. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, experience with tools like Wireshark for packet analysis, and familiarity with SQL or data analysis tools are essential. Excellent English communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are also required.
