As a New Business Account Executive in the Mid-Market segment at Motive, you will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base by targeting companies operating 50-149 trucks across the United States and Canada. This position involves managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, and is integral to the growth of our Mid-Market sales team. Motive is dedicated to enhancing the safety, productivity, and profitability of businesses in the physical economy through our comprehensive operations platform.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include identifying and securing new business opportunities, consistently meeting or exceeding monthly revenue targets. You will lead all aspects of the sales process, including prospecting, conducting sales meetings, discovery sessions, qualification, negotiation, and closing. Maintaining a high level of outbound lead generation through cold calling and strategic outreach is essential, as is collaborating cross-functionally with departments such as Sales Development, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure a seamless customer experience.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in SaaS sales, with at least two years in a full-cycle sales role, preferably within the SaaS industry. A proven track record of achieving quotas in new business, outbound sales is required. Experience working with Sales Engineers and Sales Development Representatives is advantageous. Candidates should be self-starters comfortable in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a strong ownership attitude and a commitment to continuous learning and growth.

Motive offers a competitive compensation package, with on-target earnings ranging from $142,000 to $197,000, including uncapped commissions and equity opportunities.
