NOCaaS L1 Engineer
Cato Networks is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused NOCaaS L1 Engineer to join our Product Support team in Prague, Czech Republic. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the uptime and functionality of Cato's production systems. Your day-to-day tasks will include troubleshooting and resolving various system and network issues, engaging with internal teams and customers to address service concerns, monitoring system status to identify areas for improvement, and mitigating outages to ensure minimal customer impact. Additionally, you will collaborate with third-party service providers to resolve network and system issues and support customers with last-mile connectivity challenges.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Support Engineer (Tier 1-2), IT System Administrator, NOC, or Network Operations Engineer, preferably within web, network, or information security companies. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, firewalls, proxy servers, ISP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and HTTP/HTTPS. Proficiency in reading system logs to identify root causes, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and experience with cloud or SaaS technologies are also required. Familiarity with network and security protocols and the ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment are crucial.
