Nurse Paralegal

Wilson Elser, a prominent defense litigation law firm with over 1,400 attorneys across 46 offices nationwide, is seeking a Nurse Paralegal to join its expanding litigation team in the Washington, D.C., or Baltimore, Maryland office. This role offers healthcare professionals an opportunity to transition into the legal field, with paralegal training provided as needed.

The Nurse Paralegal will be responsible for analyzing and summarizing medical records, creating medical chronologies and narrative summaries, and preparing billing record summaries in Excel. Additional duties include organizing materials for expert witness review and conducting investigative research on expert witnesses.

Candidates must hold a valid RN license and a Bachelor's degree. While experience as a Nurse Paralegal or Legal Nurse Consultant is advantageous, it is not mandatory, as training will be provided. Essential skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong written communication, critical thinking, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
