Operations Associate, 2nd Shift
Legend Biotech is seeking an Operations Associate to join our Technical Operations team in Raritan, New Jersey. This role is integral to the production of autologous CAR-T products for both clinical and commercial applications within a controlled cGMP cleanroom environment. The position is scheduled for the second shift, running from Wednesday to Saturday.
The Operations Associate will independently execute manufacturing and support processes in accordance with standard operating procedures and current curricula. Key responsibilities include performing tasks related to cell culturing, purification, aseptic processing, and cryopreservation. The role also involves accurately recording production data following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and collaborating within a cross-functional team to meet production schedules.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma with 3–5 years of experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, an associate's degree in Life Sciences or Manufacturing with 2–3 years of related experience, or a bachelor's degree in Life Sciences with 0–2 years of relevant experience. The role requires the ability to interpret various instructions, solve practical problems, and perform basic mathematical operations. Proficiency in operating manufacturing and lab equipment, as well as knowledge of routine and non-routine testing methods, is essential. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 25 lbs and perform gowning procedures necessary for working in the manufacturing core.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $57,445 to $75,396 per year.
