The Outbound Sales Manager, SMB at Square will lead a team of Account Executives focused on driving revenue growth among small and medium-sized businesses. This role involves building and developing a high-performing remote sales team that delivers exceptional results for both sellers and Square. The manager will leverage data-driven insights to coach and develop Account Executives while fostering a culture of high performance, ownership, and accountability.

Key responsibilities include creating a team culture of trust and success, supporting direct reports by participating in client and prospect meetings, developing the sales team through hiring and training, promoting rigorous sales development execution, building predictable sales funnel processes, conducting weekly pipeline reviews, coaching direct reports to increase revenue, evolving sales strategies, using customer feedback to improve products, and envisioning and implementing new ideas and approaches.

The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience as a sales manager, a proven track record of exceeding sales targets as an individual contributor, experience in hiring and training new Account Executives, a history of collaborating across different teams to inspire change, leadership and coaching experience, expertise in creating and managing sales metrics, and an understanding of decision-making processes and their broader effects.

Compensation for this role varies by location, with annual salaries ranging from $164,300 to $272,300 USD, depending on the geographic zone.
