Part Time Quality Reviewer (Nights/Weekends)
TransPerfect Legal is seeking a Part-Time Quality Reviewer to join our team during nights and weekends. The Quality Reviewer will be responsible for performing quality inspections across various stages of the translation process. This includes reviewing the work of translators and editors for language accuracy, checking formatting done by formatters, and conducting final reviews of deliverables. The role also involves identifying non-conforming products, detailing questions for linguists, managing personal task loads and schedules, and seeking clarifications when necessary.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Key qualifications include the ability to consistently deliver high-quality work within deadlines, multitask in a fast-paced environment, adhere to company and customer quality standards, learn from feedback, work independently, and collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Desired skills encompass advanced knowledge of at least one language, proficiency in PC usage, experience with MS Word's track changes feature, familiarity with Adobe Acrobat's commenting feature, and experience with translation memory applications such as SLDX or Wordfast.
