Payroll Specialist Lead - Czech Republic
Remote is seeking a Payroll Specialist Lead to join our Payroll Operations Team in the Czech Republic. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the global employment space by managing payroll processes and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The Payroll Specialist Lead will act as the subject matter expert for payroll operations in the Czech Republic. Key responsibilities include managing relationships with stakeholders across Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering teams. The role involves processing end-to-end payroll in-house, handling statutory filings, managing exceptions, approvals, payments, and ensuring compliance. Maintaining data integrity and quality, performing reconciliations, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs), implementing process improvements, mentoring payroll specialists, and providing backup support to regional managers during absences are also essential duties.
Candidates should have experience in payroll management or equivalent roles, with a strong understanding of payroll best practices specific to the Czech Republic. Proficiency in software tools such as Helios, SAP, Excel, and Google Sheets is required. An analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities, adaptability to a fast-paced international work environment, and a passion for making an impact are essential. Fluency in English is necessary, and while prior remote work experience is not required, it is considered a plus.
The annual salary range for this full-time position is $41,600 to $46,800 USD.
