In this role, the Payroll Specialist Lead will act as a subject matter expert for Hungary, managing relationships with key stakeholders across Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering teams. Responsibilities include processing end-to-end payroll in-house, ensuring compliance with statutory filing requirements, handling exceptions, approvals, and payments, and maintaining data integrity and quality. Additional duties encompass accounting reconciliations, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs), implementing and improving processes, mentoring payroll specialists, and providing backup support to regional managers during absences.

Candidates should possess payroll management or equivalent experience, a solid understanding of payroll best practices, and proficiency in software tools such as SAP and Excel or Google Sheets. An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities is essential, along with the capacity to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment. A proactive attitude towards improving and accelerating work processes is highly valued. Fluency in English is required, and while prior remote work experience is not mandatory, it is considered advantageous. Demonstrated capabilities in automation and artificial intelligence are also desirable.

The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from 11,000,000 Ft to 12,700,000 Ft HUF.
