Payroll Specialist Lead - Netherlands

Remote is seeking a Payroll Specialist Lead to join our Global Payroll Operations Team. This role involves managing end-to-end payroll processes for the Netherlands, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and maintaining data integrity. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert, collaborating with various internal teams to enhance payroll operations.

Key responsibilities include processing full-cycle payroll in-house, handling statutory filings, managing exceptions and approvals, and ensuring timely payments. The role also involves maintaining accurate payroll journals and reconciliations, focusing on key performance indicators and service level agreements, implementing process improvements, mentoring payroll specialists, and providing backup support to regional managers as needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience in end-to-end payroll processing, either in-house or with a payroll service provider, and possess knowledge of payroll best practices. Proficiency in software tools like Excel and Google Suite is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment and a passion for making an impact are crucial. Fluency in English is required, and while experience with remote work and AFAS payroll software is beneficial, it is not mandatory.

Remote offers a competitive annual salary range of €57,500 to €64,650 for this full-time position.
