This position combines hands-on payroll execution with operational expertise, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll delivery. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams across Payroll Operations, Finance, Product, and Service Operations, as well as relevant external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include executing end-to-end payroll operations for the US PEO environment, validating payroll inputs and outputs, managing payroll-related exceptions and reconciliations, and supporting the implementation of payroll processes, including system updates and new program rollouts. The role also involves serving as a point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders regarding payroll execution and compliance, identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes, and providing support and guidance to other payroll specialists to maintain continuity and quality of payroll delivery.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in end-to-end payroll execution within the US PEO or similar environment, including payroll validations, reconciliations, and statutory filings. Knowledge of US federal, state, and local payroll regulations and best practices is essential. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in payroll systems, and the ability to operate independently in a remote-first, asynchronous work environment are also required. Experience with multi-country payroll is a plus but not required for this US-focused role.

The annual salary range for this full-time position is $83,200 to $112,300 USD. Benefits include the ability to work from anywhere, flexible paid time off, flexible working hours, 16 weeks paid parental leave, mental health support services, stock options, a learning budget, a home office budget and IT equipment, and a budget for local in-person social events or co-working spaces.

The company fosters a remote-first, asynchronous work environment, empowering employees to take ownership and be proactive. The culture emphasizes work-life balance, encouraging employees to prioritize personal and family needs while fitting work around their schedules. The company values innovation and encourages team members to bring their talents, experiences, and culture to help build a best-in-class HR platform.
