The Personnel Security Specialist at Anduril Industries plays a crucial role within the Security Services Team, supporting employees across the United States. The specialist is responsible for processing security clearances, maintaining accurate records, and addressing security-related matters for personnel requiring clearances for collateral and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) positions.

Key responsibilities include managing and initiating personnel security clearances and background investigations, processing visit access requests (VARs), and handling mandatory Security Executive Agent Directive (SEAD) 3 reporting via the Defense Information System for Security (DISS). The role also involves providing guidance to employees on security clearance processes, conducting briefings and debriefings, and coordinating classified meetings. Additionally, the specialist manages the Security Information Management System (SIMS) database, ensuring accurate tracking of clearances, accesses, and visitor information.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma and at least two years of related administrative and customer service experience. Strong organizational and tracking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential. Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) regulations, including 32 CFR Part 117 (National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual), and familiarity with security clearance processes such as DISS, National Background Investigation Services (NBIS), and Standard Form 86 (SF86) are desired. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and excellent communication skills are also required.
