The Planning Analyst at Anduril Industries plays a pivotal role within the Planning organization, focusing on translating demand insights into precise production and procurement signals. This position is integral to the Systems & Process team, which collaborates closely with Anduril’s Analytics team to develop scalable workflows, ontologies, and data models that enhance planning efficiency. The analyst is responsible for creating a digital twin of operations, capturing data across demand, supply, manufacturing, and sustainment to facilitate real-time decision-making.

Key responsibilities include partnering with Planning leadership and the Analytics team to build secure and extensible ontologies for domains such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance. The analyst will develop reporting and data applications that provide near real-time visibility into planning KPIs, including forecast accuracy, fill rates, and inventory turns. Additionally, the role involves conducting ad-hoc analyses on demand signals, inventory strategies, and supply risks to deliver insights that balance service levels with profitability. The analyst will also run scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to evaluate the impact of market or contract volatility on operational outcomes and act as a subject matter expert for planning tools and systems.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in an analytics-focused role, such as Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or Analyst/Consultant with a strong supply chain or operations background. Strong operational instincts and a track record of managing complex, ambiguous planning problems from start to finish are essential. The role requires strategic thinking and tactical execution, with the ability to design planning frameworks and address detailed issues. A data-driven mindset is crucial, along with proficiency in interpreting demand signals, building plans, and clear communication. Experience with ERP platforms like NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle is necessary, as is the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams to improve tooling. Cross-functional empathy, comfort with ambiguity, and a proactive approach to preventing issues are also important. Technical qualifications include expert-level SQL skills, proficiency in Python or other programming languages, and experience with BI and analytics tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Palantir Foundry, dbt, or Redshift. The candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

The position offers a salary range of $98,000 to $130,000 USD, with actual offers varying based on factors such as work experience, education, critical skills, and business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in most full-time offers, forming part of Anduril's total compensation package. Additional benefits for full-time employees include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans at little to no cost, income protection through life and disability insurance, generous time off with a holiday hiatus in December, caregiver and wellness leave, family planning and parenting support, mental health resources, professional development reimbursement, commuter benefits, and relocation assistance depending on role eligibility. Retirement savings plans are also available, including traditional 401(k), Roth, and after-tax options.

Anduril Industries fosters a dynamic and mission-driven company culture, emphasizing innovation and rapid development in defense technology. Employees have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that significantly impact U.S. and allied military capabilities. The company supports professional growth through continuous learning opportunities and cross-functional collaboration.
