As part of the team, the engineer will work under designated project leadership to deliver comprehensive plumbing and fire protection solutions.

The primary responsibilities include designing piping and equipment for plumbing and fire protection systems, preparing calculations with supervisory review, and creating production drawings from schematic to construction phases. The engineer will also edit specifications, specify equipment such as sprinklers and medical gas systems, and review shop drawings for compliance. Effective communication with clients and project teams is essential, involving attendance at meetings and management of project budgets. Additional duties encompass conducting field site visits during construction, mentoring junior staff, and participating in value engineering sessions.

Candidates should possess a current Professional Engineer (PE) or Fire Protection Engineer (FPE) license in the United States and have a minimum of four years of related experience. Proficiency in engineering design programs, particularly Revit, is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. LEED accreditation is preferred.

The salary range for this position is $66,700 to $83,400 annually, with potential eligibility for discretionary bonuses.
