Archer is seeking a Power Electronics Test Engineer to join our team in San Jose, California. As a leader in the development of all-electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, we are committed to advancing sustainable air mobility solutions. In this position, you will lead the integration and development testing of high-performance aerospace power electronics, including DC-DC, DC-AC, and AC-DC converters. Your responsibilities will encompass specifying, designing, and performing tests on electrical aspects of product modules and boards used in airborne power conversion and distribution systems. Additionally, you will develop and execute test plans and procedures, conduct failure analyses, and support flight test data review to ensure the reliability and safety of our power electronics products.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 1 year of experience. A strong foundation in power electronics components and modules, proficiency with lab instruments, and experience in designing and building test stations are essential. Familiarity with automated test station tools, such as NI LabVIEW, and exceptional analytical problem-solving skills are also required.
