Pr Data Engineer
The Pr Data Engineer at eClinical Solutions will serve as a technical lead, providing high-level consulting services and overseeing the configuration of the elluminate platform. This role involves managing specific projects related to trial configuration, quality control, project management, and the development of custom analytics. The engineer will act as a technical escalation point, designing solutions and guiding a team of data engineers in various software service delivery activities.
Key responsibilities include leading consulting efforts related to clinical systems software, developing reporting programs, and ensuring quality control for system configurations, data extracts, custom reports, and visualizations. The role also involves managing and mentoring technical resources to deliver client services, providing training to internal and external users, and ensuring compliance with industry quality standards and procedures. Additionally, the engineer will work closely with sales teams on staffing and project delivery services and define processes to support new and existing modules in elluminate.
Candidates should have over 10 years of professional experience, preferably in services or senior consulting roles, and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 8 years in database design and development is required, with prior experience leading technical teams being advantageous. Thorough experience in data warehouse architecture, design, and development is essential, and knowledge of clinical trial data standards such as CDISC ODM, SDTM, or ADAM is a plus.
Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL programming, or languages like R, Python, or SAS is required. Experience with multiple database platforms, including Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, and DB2, is necessary. Familiarity with data reporting tools such as QlikSense, QlikView, Spotfire, Tableau, and others is expected. Additional experience with technologies C#, Java, HTML, SSRS, AWS, Azure, Spark, REST APIs, Big Data, ETL, data pipelines, data modeling, data analytics, BI, data warehouse, and data lake is beneficial. Strong familiarity with EDC systems like Rave, Trial Master, InForm, or Oracle Clinical is preferred.
