Skylo Technologies is seeking a Principal Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based solutions that support our global operations. As a senior leader within the Enterprise Systems & Security team, you will play a pivotal role in developing cloud strategies that align with Skylo's mission to provide seamless connectivity between terrestrial and satellite networks. This position is based in Bangalore, India, with an expectation of onsite presence at least three days a week.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability, identifying opportunities to enhance resource utilization. Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining rigorous security protocols for cloud resources, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and safeguarding digital assets. Additionally, you will lead cost optimization initiatives, streamline Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, and design high-availability disaster recovery and backup strategies to minimize downtime and ensure service continuity.

The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure management, with deep proficiency in designing and maintaining complex cloud environments within AWS or GCP ecosystems. Advanced professional certifications in AWS or GCP cloud architecture are highly desirable. Hands-on experience with IAM, API management platforms like Apigee, and infrastructure automation tools is essential. Proven leadership abilities in guiding complex technology initiatives and providing technical mentorship to engineering teams are also required. Experience in telecommunications, satellite networks, or high-scale IoT environments is a significant plus.
