Principal Enterprise Architect
The Principal Enterprise Architect at Celonis plays a pivotal role in designing transformative solution architectures for both prospective and existing clients. This position requires a unique blend of deep technical expertise and executive presence, enabling the architect to confidently engage with C-level executives and translate their strategic objectives into actionable technical plans. The role is integral to supporting the sales team in achieving revenue goals by addressing technical challenges and collaborating closely with various internal teams.
Key responsibilities include leading and defining the overall architecture, data, and cloud strategy for major client accounts. The architect will drive innovation by identifying and designing solutions that leverage emerging technologies, including Agentic AI. Acting as a bridge between Celonis' product and engineering teams and client teams, the role ensures the delivery of optimal technical services. Additionally, the architect will assess clients' IT landscape maturity, participate in both pre-sales and post-sales phases, and develop reusable assets and thought leadership materials.
Candidates should possess 10 to 15 years of relevant experience, such as roles as a software vendor architect, CTO in top consulting firms, or enterprise architect at a client organization. A strong background in data architecture, integration patterns, and proficiency in data-related languages like SQL and Python is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to present complex information effectively, are required. A solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, SaaS solutions, cybersecurity fundamentals, and API ecosystems is also necessary. Fluency in English is mandatory, with additional languages like Spanish, French, or Italian being advantageous. A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
