Principal, Healthcare Data (Commercial)
Komodo Health is seeking a Principal, Healthcare Data (Commercial) to join their Data Product team. This individual contributor role focuses on transforming complex healthcare data into scalable, high-quality products that provide meaningful insights for life sciences and healthcare stakeholders. The position involves direct collaboration with high-value clients to enhance their understanding and utilization of Komodo's data offerings.
Key responsibilities include leading the discovery phase for high-value clients, ensuring they comprehend Komodo's data differentiation in the market and its influence on data products. The role also involves consulting on complex analytical queries, such as patient longitudinal studies and provider segmentation, to ensure customers receive accurate results. Additionally, the Principal will build and maintain helper scripts, documentation, and visualizations that support analytic generation for customers, and synthesize technical challenges faced by customers to present to product teams, influencing the enhancement of data products.
Candidates should have a minimum of seven years of experience in data analytics, management consulting, or similar roles within the healthcare space, with specific market segments of interest being RWE/HEOR, Commercial Life Sciences, or Payer/Provider. Experience working with claims-based or similar datasets is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to partner directly with customers, building trusted relationships while translating customer questions and challenges into clear analytical approaches and actionable recommendations. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, along with a proactive, curious, and impact-oriented mindset, are essential. The role also requires the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance personal productivity, streamline workflows, content, and visualization creation.
Compensation for this role includes a salary range of $168,000 to $230,000 per year, along with comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, flexible time off and holidays, 401(k) with company match, disability insurance, life insurance, and performance-based bonuses.
