The Principal I, Strategic AI Sales role at Braze focuses on expanding the company's AI Decision Studio by engaging with new and existing senior customer relationships. This position requires a collaborative approach with the Braze sales team to identify and secure business opportunities within the AI sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise sales, consulting, marketing technology, AI, or marketing, with a proven track record of success.

Key responsibilities include leading discussions with potential AI Decision Studio clients, working closely with pre- and post-sales teams to determine impactful applications of AI solutions, and quantifying their benefits. The role also involves enabling colleagues by providing training on reinforcement learning and its marketing applications, participating in Proofs of Value to ensure successful progression, and communicating customer needs to the product and marketing teams to inform a customer-centric product roadmap. Additionally, the Principal will represent Braze AI at key meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows.

Candidates should possess at least 5 years of experience in relevant industries, exceptional communication and presentation skills suitable for engaging executive-level stakeholders, and a strong understanding of business drivers and how AI can accelerate impact. A passion for new technologies, a process-driven mindset, and an entrepreneurial spirit are essential. The ability to build trust-based relationships and navigate complex tech evaluations with enterprise brands is also crucial.

Braze offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $146,600 to $172,400 per year, with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $293,100 and $344,800 annually, which includes bonuses or commissions.
