Principal I, Strategic AI Sales
Braze is seeking a Principal I, Strategic AI Sales professional to drive the growth of its AI solutions by collaborating with the sales team and engaging with senior customer relationships. This role is integral to expanding Braze's AI Decision Studio offerings, requiring a proactive and entrepreneurial approach to navigate complex technology evaluations with enterprise clients.
Key responsibilities include leading discussions with potential AI Decision Studio customers, working with pre- and post-sales teams to identify high-impact applications of AI solutions, and quantifying their impact. The role also involves training colleagues on reinforcement learning applications in marketing, participating in Proofs of Value to ensure successful progression, and communicating customer needs to product and marketing teams to inform a customer-centric product roadmap. Additionally, the position requires representing Braze AI at meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in enterprise sales, consulting, marketing technology, AI, or marketing, with a proven track record of performance. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders. A deep understanding of business drivers and the ability to leverage AI for business impact are crucial. The candidate should be passionate about new technologies, execution-focused, adept at building trust-based relationships, process-driven, and entrepreneurial.
For candidates based in the United States, the starting salary range is expected to be between $146,600 and $172,400 per year, with an On Target Earnings (OTE) between $293,100 and $344,800 per year, including bonuses or commissions.
