Skylo Technologies is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the commercial strategy and adoption of our device ecosystem. This role is pivotal in translating complex hardware capabilities into a scalable, high-quality "Skylo Certified" device portfolio that ensures a seamless user experience. The position is based in Mountain View, CA, with a requirement to be onsite at least three days a week.

The Principal Product Manager will define and prioritize hardware partnerships, including chipsets, modules, and OEMs, based on customer reach and technical feasibility. Responsibilities include establishing clear acceptance criteria for market-ready products, documenting major ecosystem decisions, and representing various stakeholder perspectives during technical sprints. Additionally, the role involves aligning Skylo’s feature roadmap with the release schedules of Tier-1 OEMs and chipset makers, and analyzing post-launch data to continuously refine quality standards.

Candidates should have over 15 years of experience in product management, wireless systems engineering, or ecosystem engagements, with a deep understanding of the mobile wireless stack, including RF, modem, and operating systems like Android. A proven track record of aligning external partners around a shared product vision and influencing their roadmaps is essential. Experience with 3GPP standards and device certification challenges is also required.
